Gingerbread Iced Latte with Dalgona Coffee
Deliciously whipped and frothy Gingerbread Iced Latte with Dalgona Coffee is perfect for the holiday season and a tasty spin on Dalgona coffee.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup instant espresso - or instant coffee powder
- ¼ cup cold water
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups milk of choice
- Ice
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar, and instant coffee (or espresso powder) in a mixing bowl.
- Use an electric mixer or an electric whisk to beat the mixture until it becomes light and fluffy. It can be done with a whisk but will take more time.
- Once it becomes fluffy, whisk in the ground cinnamon and ground ginger until combined.
- Set aside until ready to use.
- Fill two glasses with ice cubes and add one cup of your favorite milk to each glass.
- Place half of the milk, and the vanilla extract in one glass and the other half in the second glass.
- Top each glass with the Dalgona topping as desired.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
An electric mixer is recommended to make the Dalgona to save time but a whisk can also be used.
