Spider Donuts
These adorable mini spider donuts are the perfect little spooky snack for Halloween parties, classroom treats, or even a fun Halloween breakfast.
Ingredients
- 12 mini donuts - store-bought or homemade
- 24 mini pretzels
- 20 candy eyes - or candy eyeballs
- Black icing - room temperature
- Optional: Halloween sprinkles - chocolate sprinkles, melting chocolate
Instructions
- Break each mini pretzel into curved pieces. You’ll need 8 pieces for each donut.
- Insert 4 pretzel pieces into each side of a mini donut to create spider legs.
- Place a small dab of black icing on the back of each candy eye and press onto the top of the donut.
- Sprinkle with chocolate or Halloween sprinkles, or add dots of melted chocolate if desired.
- Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature until ready to serve.
Notes
- Little Debbie mini frosted chocolate donuts or Hostess mini donuts are great for this easy recipe.
- Tilt the candy eyeballs in different directions to give each spider a silly personality.
- Serve these as part of a Halloween dessert spread or pack them for a school Halloween snack.
